  1. We, hereby notice that the bids submitted as per the advertisement in Annapurna Post Daily dated 2073/11/13 and amendment notice dated 2073/11/20 in same newspaper, has been cancelled. So, we re-invite the bids from registered contractors for the following works from all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from Procurement Unit of BID by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application along with the updated certified copy of company/firm registration certificate, VAT/ PAN registration certificate and uptodate tax clearance certificate, and upon payment as mentioned on or before 15th day (22nd Baisakh, 2074BS) of date of publication of this notice. Bidder’s representative who wishes to purchase the Bid Documents shall furnish authority letter issued by the authorized person of the firm or JV forms. Bidders may purchase the hard copy of bidding documents from the office and fill up the documents as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.

  • Sealed Bids must be submitted to The Manager, BID, Balaju, Kathmandu indicating contract identification number, name of the contract, name of the bidder’s firm and its address on or before 12:00 hours on 16th day(24th Baisakh, 2074BS) from the date of publication of this notice. Documents received after this deadline will be rejected.
  1. Bids will be opened immediately in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hour on the last day of bid submission at BID Management Office, Balaju, Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a Bid Security amounting to exactly specified in the table above, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid. If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Current Account No.: 03511606351569000001 in favour of BID Management Office at Nepal Bank Ltd, Balaju Branch and submit the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Bid.
  2. Bidder shall quote the item rates in the BOQ exclusive of VAT. All other taxes and levies which may be applicable shall be included in the quoted rates. In case of discrepancies in rates in figures and words, the rates in word shall govern.
  3. Notary Public certified documents shall be submitted by the Bidder as per required in Evaluation and Qualification Criteria stated in Bidding Document.
  • If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday it shall be extended to the next working day. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
  • Bidder is advised to visit sites and assess the actual site conditions before submitting their bids.
  1. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
  2. Any matters other than mentioned above will be in accordance with the prevailing law of Nepal and other mandatory information as per PPA and PPR.
