Invitation for Sealed Quotation

1. Government of Nepal (GoN), Department of Irrigation (Dol), Sunsari Morang Irrigation Project (SMIP) invites sealed Quotations from registered Bidders for the procurement of Construction Works as mentioned below in Quotation Details table.

3. Quotation Forms may be purchased on or before 2074/01/10 from the above office of Sunsari Morang Irrigation Project, Biratnagar by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/ firm registration certificate renewed for F/Y 2073/74, VAT/PAN certificate, Tax clearance certificates of F/Y 2072/73, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Nepali Rupees as given in Quotation Details table below in cash or in form of bank receipt for fee deposited in GoN revenue account No: Ka-14001, Office Code No 10-357-05, Office Sunsari Morang Irrigation Project, Agriculture Development Bank, Biratnagar in the form of bank draft in favor of Sunsari Morang Irrigation Project. Biratnagar.
4. Sealed Quotations must be submitted to the above office of Sunsari Morang Irrigation Project, Biratnagar on or before 12 hours on 2074/01/11 .Quotations received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
5. Quotations must be valid for a period of 45 days from the date of opening of Sealed quotations and must be accompanied by Bid Security amount as mentioned in Quotation Details table deposited in Dharauti Account No: 0601601014070045 of District Treasury Controller office (Office Code 10-357-05) at Agriculture Development Bank, Biratnagar branch or a bank Guarantee issued by Commercial banks acceptable to the employer drawn in favor of Sunsari Morang Irrigation Project, Biratnagar, Mornag, which shall be 30 days beyond the Quotation Validity period. The supplier who deposited Cash Security shall submit the receipt of the deposited amount along with the Sealed Quotation.
6. Sealed Quotation shall be opened in the presence of Bidders representatives who choose to attend at 14.00 hour on 2074/01/11 at the office of Sunsari Morang Irrigation Project, Biratnagar, Morang.
7. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day.
8. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the Sealed Quotations without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
9. If any discrepancies exist between quoted rates in figures and words, rates quoted in words shall be effective for bid evaluation.
